Every 18 minutes, someone in New Zealand hears the words, "you have cancer." While treatment focuses on the disease, cancer often affects every part of life, including confidence, relationships, work, wellbeing and the ability to navigate everyday challenges. We believe no one should have to face those challenges alone.
Cancer Support New Zealand is a national charity providing free, practical, non-medical support to people affected by cancer throughout Aotearoa. We sit alongside clinical care, helping people access wellbeing programmes, trusted information, community connections and support that addresses the everyday realities of cancer. Our vision is a future where everyone affected by cancer can access the support they need, regardless of where they live or their ability to pay.
